Really Big Fish

There are some enormous halibut in the waters around here. Darius has caught his fair share of some big ones, but I think yesterday's catch definitely falls into the enormous category.

What baffles me is how he even got the thing in the boat! The halibut weighed 82 pounds, and Darius caught it on a rod and reel. He was holding his rod in one hand and hooked the fish with the other. Now if you've ever tried hooking a fish while it's thrashing in the water and trying to hold your rod steady in the other, you know it's not an easy task. It definitely helps to have an extra set of hands, and it actually makes me nervous to think about how very wrong things could have gone. The fish are nice, but I'm more happy to see my man come home in one piece!
